‘I have devoted my creator, the select specimen of all that is worthy of love and admiration among men, to misery; I have pursued him even to that irremediable ruin. There he lies, white and cold in death. You hate me; but your abhorrence cannot equal that with which I regard myself.’

MARY SHELLY.  FRANKENSTEIN or The Modern Prometheus. p.145.

FRANKENSTEIN - PASSING by VULPA

Vulpa has created a sequence of illustrations inspired by the literary classic Frankenstein. Each week she will be sharing one of her works, a total of six in all.

In the final scene we come full circle, back to the ship where Frankenstein succumbs to the cold and the creature arrives to laments the passing of his cruel creator, forlornly promising to leave the world that has despised him.
